A letter
With joy, and a little nervousness, we are getting married. We would love to have you with us in Lisbon: a ceremony in the garden at four, then a long dinner under the lights. Come as you are, and stay late.
The day

Saturday. Please arrive by 15:40, the garden gate closes at four.
Ceremony in the garden
Under the old lemon tree. Short, warm, outdoors.
Drinks on the terrace
Vinho verde, petiscos, photos while the light is good.
The long table
Dinner in the courtyard. Your seat is on the card by the door.
Dancing
Until the neighbours complain, or about one.

The place
Casa Andorinha
Rua das Andorinhas 14, 1100-000 Lisboa. A pink house with a tiled garden, ten minutes up the hill from the river.
By air
Lisbon airport is twenty minutes away by taxi.
By tram
Tram 28 to Graça, then a short walk downhill.
By car
Street parking is hard. A shuttle leaves Rossio at 15:00.

What to wear
Garden formal,

Linen, silk, comfortable shoes for cobblestones. We would love a little lime somewhere. Please leave white to the bride.

If your invitation says “and guest”, yes. If you are not sure, write to us and ask.
Yes. There will be a small table for them and a babysitter from nine.
Having you there is the gift. If you would like to give something, a little help towards our trip to the Azores would be lovely.
Yes, and vegan too. Tell us on the reply card and the kitchen will plan for it.
We would love you to keep your phones away until we kiss. After that, please take as many as you like.
